Four full days of fun in room 23! We participated in several project based learning activities to enhance our learning across the curriculum. In reading we spent time using Chrome books to research different breeds of dogs and to find a dog that would be a good fit for the family. We will celebrate ,"Dog Day," on Monday and it will be exciting, guaranteed! We continued making progress writing essays in writer's workshop, writing scripts in technology workshop and learning about the Muses in poetry workshop. We participated in math centers twice this week before taking a test on basic fraction concepts. We will begin adding and subtracting fractions next week. Our travels around the US have moved beyond the Northeast and we will be visiting Washington D.C. next week.
