Simply put, I loved this book.  It's a book that is just right for spring fourth graders and my older friends.   There are some tough themes in this book; death of a parent, homelessness, elective mutism and unlikely friendships to name a few.  It will be exciting to read this book with friends because there is so much to talk about.
