A Big Bite

The last two weeks have been busy, busy, busy!  We completed all of the ELA MCAS and were able to finish Snow Treasure.  Everyone agreed that the book was awesome.  We will begin a unit on mythology next week.  In addition, we will be taking a close look at poetry in anticipation of our visit with Ms. Liz in early May.  We have been working on concepts in geometry and measurement in math and will be taking a math test this week.  We are done studying wind and clouds and will move on to severe weather next week. Washington D.C. is such an exciting place and we have been learning so much about all of the monuments and historic sites.  our journey around the USA continues this week as we travel to the southeast!

So many students wore purple to support my Alma mater, The University at Albany, during March Madness!  James even made a UA jersey with "Williams," on the back.  We took a picture of it and tweeted it to Reece Williams, the UA player who wears #13 and he tweeted back how much he appreciated the effort and the support.  It was REALLY COOL!
Have a great weekend!
