A Big Bite

Last week was a fun week!  We had a visit from Danielle Niles, a meteorologist at WBZ, and we were on the Friday night newscast!  She really helped us with so many of the concepts that we have been working on in weather.  We made more progress in Snow Treasure as we continued to practice for the MCAS.  We brainstormed many ideas for potential writing prompts and everyone is ready for the big day tomorrow!
We celebrated Pi Day with round snacks and we made a line plot of our snacks.  It also took us 24:13 to run 3.14 miles in laps around the gym.  We all cheered Logan on as he ran the last lap!  We will be moving on to Washington D.C. in Social Studies during the upcoming weeks and we can't wait to get there!
In art, we made really cool finger puppets out of model magic.  We are hoping to write stories about these characters.  In technology workshop we continued working on our Google Doc presentations.  It is so much fun.  We wrote limericks and "rap," poems about snowflakes.  They were awesome!
