Juicy Nibble
After reading The Family Under the Bridge and having a great talk worth discussion about the major themes in the book, we decided that the family motto of the Calcets would be “Stick together!” Here is a list of the Family Mottos each student created for their own family. They are very interesting and creative; you should feel a great deal of pride in your children.

Flaherty-“Keep trying”
O’Connor-“Don’t stop what you are doing.”
Hurley-“Never quit.”
Whitmore-“Traveling Forever.”
Power-“Always do your best.”
Williams-“Be yourself.”
Lussier-“You can do anything if you put your mind to it.”
Dwyer-“Family comes first.”
Chiapponi-“Be strong.”
Sridhar-“Respect what you get.”
Shaik-“Think of other people other than yourself.”
Barry-“Keep on trying.”
Yelle-“Practice makes perfect.”
Dickson-“Try your best and it will come out the best.”
Drake-“Don’t stop working.”
McCluskey-“Think of others and they’ll think of you.”
O’Brien-“Treat others the way you want to be treated.”
Walmsley-“If you do your best, you will succeed.”
Drohan-“Try new things.”
Garilli-“Do what you love.”
Chin-“Keep on rolling.”
Kerns-“Never give up.”
Fields-“It’s o.k. to be different
