It was another fun week in 4th grade. It was World Read Aloud Week and we spent time every day reading some of the Caldecott winners from the last few years. We also spent World Read Aloud Day reading books with Mrs. Wilmarth's class. We created a presentation in Google Docs for you to view and make comments.
The best way to view this project is to click on "present." If you would like to comment, you will need to be in the edit mode, not the presentation mode. Just place your cursor on the slide where you wish to comment and click on the comment button. The students know how to do this as they have learned how to in Tech workshop. We are looking forward to your comments. Click here to view our work from this fun project!
We are multiplying fractions and learning about decimals in math. Our tour of Washington D.C. continues and we spent time completing research in tech workshop. We have been working on Altered Text Poems all week. This is hard work but very rewarding when it all comes together! We should be ready to publish soon.
It looks like nice weather next week, we can't wait!
Mrs. Williams
