Brenna just had a rigorous tryout for the 4th grade Metro teams and made the “A” team, so she will be playing competitive basketball until March.Brenna loves to wear knee pads when she plays – it enables her to get down and dirty on the court and she won’t hesitate to dive for a loose ball. She has a ritual when shooting fouls shots: bounce three times with right hand, spin ball, set stance, shoot. She loves to shoot hoops with the kids in the neighborhood and our driveway is often the location for a game or a “tournament.” She really values the friendships she is making and responds very well to coaching. She plays hard, she has a good time, and it is a lot of fun to watch her.
