It was another spectacular week in room 23. We started English and had English homework. In reader's workshop we built our book bags and we have been reading many books so far. The reading show, Bubblemania, was bubblelicious (see picture below). We did a plant and soil experiment in Science and on the 17th we learned about the Constitution for Constitution Day. MR. Adams, the Kennedy School Engineer, came to talk to the fourth graders about the engineering process and he helped us to get started on our Puff-Mobiles. That's him, in the yellow, working with one of the groups. He is Mrs. Adams' husband. We took our first math test and it was pretty easy. We'll see! In art we are making castles out of shapes next week. In music we are working on the musical alphabet. We also had a music demonstration on Friday. Next week we will be making terrariums and starting an enrichment project in math. Over the weekend we will be doing many activities, like playing soccer, football, hockey, cheerleading, field hockey and Karate! This week was awesome!
