Good afternoon!
We are close to finishing our unit of study on fractions and decimals in math and the test will be on Thursday, April 1. The children are loving our interactive read aloud, The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate and enjoy observing animals in zoos and in the wild via webcams from around the world. We are writing about heroes in writer’s workshop and have continued word study work. Also, the students are writing poems based on mythical creatures and Greek mythology. We are learning about immigration the westward expansion of the United States.
Only one more week of hybrid learning! There are several changes to the schedule which will take effect the week we return, nothing to worry about next week!
