A Big Bite

Read Across America was this past Monday and we celebrated in many ways.  We started the March Madness Reading program, began a unit on mythology and read some favorite Dr. Seuss books together. I also shared the World Read Aloud Day slideshow (with families) that we created with Mrs. Henault's class.  We hope that you enjoyed it!

Non fiction research writing, writing the next chapter of a story and poetry have been our writing focuses this past week.  We love to read and write!

In math, we are wrapping up the unit on fractions and decimals and preparing for a test on Wednesday.  The students are prepared but every little bit of outside practice helps!
