Another great breakfast book club! Dads and daughters read Because of Winn Dixie by Kate DiCamillo. We had an interesting discussion about judgement, sadness and family. So much of what we have worked on in Reader's Workshop all year was related to this book. Everyone agreed that this was a fantastic experience and will definitely read another book as a father/daughter team again.
